Join ESN FHNW on a panoramic adventure to Mount Rigi, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful viewpoints! 

We’ll hike the Rigi Panorama Trail, a scenic 10 km route with breathtaking views of the Alps and Lake Lucerne. The hike takes about 3 hours and is suitable for beginners too — just remember to wear proper shoes, as the trail goes through forest paths and gets a little steeper towards the end.

  • Distance: ~10 km

  • Duration: ~3 hours

  • Difficulty: Easy – moderate (great for beginners)

  • Terrain: Forest trails (not asphalt)

  • Return train ticket from Olten/Basel SBB

  • Rigi Bahnen ticket (with seat reservation)

  • A celebration drink at the top (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
