We are ESN FHNW, which stands for Erasmus Student Network Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. We are a community of fun, international people who love to exchange and meet new students from around the world. Furthermore, we organize trips, parties, and gatherings on a regular basis to make sure that the exchange students have the best time of their lives!
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a European-wide student organization, with more than 500 sections in 42 countries, created to support and develop student exchange. The aims of ESN are to promote the social and personal integration of the exchange students.
Our ESN Section has been founded in the year 2013 as ESN Olten and changed its name 2019 to ESN FHNW since we operate at all campuses of the FHNW.
ESN FHNW aims, like other local sections of ESN Switzerland, to ensure that all international students at the FHNW feel at home, have a great time, meet a lot of new people, get a good glimpse of Swiss student life and Swiss culture in general. To achieve this, we organise welcome parties and all kind of fun events, all year long. We also set up buddy programs, provide information and may even come and fetch you at the airport when you arrive! In a word, we are here to make your stay a better one.
